It is intimated that earlier the industry was granted consents to operate under Water Act, 1974 videConsent No. O14LDH4CTOW1763254 dated 12.09.2014 valid upto 30.09.2018 & under Air Act, 1981 vide consent No. O14LDH4CTOA1661050 dated 12.09.2014 valid upto 30.09.2019.
Now, the industry has applied for the renewal of consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 through online system on 15,14-09-2018 respectively.
The site of the industry was visited by the undersigned (JEE) on 17.09.2018 and observed as under:-
1. The industry was in operation during visit. The industry is engaged in the process of manufacturing of transformer.
2. The Manufacturing Process of the industry is Raw material Cutting Welding Painting with Paint Brush Core Coil Assembly To oven Tank up Coolant Oil Feeding Testing Dispatch.
3. There is no generation of the trade effluentand domestic effluent is discharged into sewer.
4. The industry has installed two LPG fired ovens to whom adequate stack heights have been provided..
5. The industry has installed one D.G set of capacity 125 KVA with canopy and adequate stack height.
6. The fixed assets of the industry has been increased from Rs. 184.65 Lacs (as on 31.03.2014) to Rs. 229.09 Lacs (as on 31.03.2018) i.e. Rs. 44.44 Lacs expansion in various heads(out of which only 2.36 lacs in machinery head)for which industry has deposited Rs. 2,400/- vide R.No 89/4704 dated 17.09.2018 as NOC Regularization fee, which can be regularized as industry is located in designated Industrial Focal Point.
7. The consent fee deposited by the industry is adequate upto 30.09.2023 under Water Act, 1974 & under Air Act, 1981 respectively.
8. The industry has submitted the copy of Building Plan duly approved by the by the Director of Factories.
9. The Air consent granted to the industry is valid upto 30.09.2019. A clarification was sought from the industry in this regard that why the industry has applied for renewal of consent in advance. The Industry has submitted that it has applied for renewal as per the previous practice as both Air & Water Consents were renewed together every time. This will help in saving time the both for us as well as for department, hence industry has applied for renewal/extension of consents under Both Acts simultaneously.
Keeping in view of the above, it is recommended that consents to operate under Water Act, 1974& Air Act, 1981 may be renewed/extended to the industry for 5 years i.e. upto 30.09.2023 with usual conditions
