The details of the case are given in the agenda note attached online which may kindly be perused. As reported by Regional Office, earlier the industry was operated in the name of M/s Ferozepur Foods Energy Pvt. Ltd. having consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981, valid upto 31.03.2018. Now, the industry has been purchased by M/s Adani Wilmar Limited on 06.02.2018, accordingly the industry has applied for consents to operate under the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981. Presently, the unit is not in operation due to off season. However, the ETP is under stabilization, as per visit dt. 14.09.2018. In view of the report / recommendation given by Regional Office, if approved, consents to operate under the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 may please be granted to the industry upto 31.03.2023, subject to suitable conditions and specific condition that-
1. The industry shall get the performance of ETP & APCD from the Board's lab, within three months.
2. The industry will be bound to achieve the amended emission standards as & when the same are notified by the Board.
3. The industry will utilize the entire treated trade effluent onto land for plantation purpose.
4. The industry shall dispose off the boiler ash in scientific manner so as to avoid any public nuisance in the vicinity.
