Sir,
It is submitted that the subject cited industry is located in the premises of M/s International Mega Food Parks Ltd.. The said unit discharges its waste water for treatment into common ETP installed by its parent unit M/s International Mega Food Park, in which majority of the waste water is of the parent unit. Also, the said unit shares the boiler section and APCDs with its parent unit, with majority of the emissions from the parent unit. That is the pollution control devices and its disposal are mainly handled by its parent unit. Now, as per the agenda note dated 30.08.2018, the parent unit was found grossly violating the provisions of the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 on visit of the Board Officers on 22.06.2018. Accordingly, action against the parent unit was recommended to Competent Authority, proceedings of which are still awaited.Till now, no compliance has been received regarding this neither from the the said unit nor its parent unit . In view of above, if approved, following actions may be taken:-
1. Application of the said industry M/s Perennial Foods may be returned with a request to submit the compliance of the observations of the visit dated 22.06.2018 of the Officers of the Board and then apply again.
2. The said unit and parent unit may be visited by Officers of the Board after Orders of the Competent Authority in matter of the violations observed during the visit dated 22.06.2018. |
