It is intimated that the industry was again given personal hearing on 1/10/2018 vide letter no. 5390 dated 24/9/2018. But, the industry again failed to attend the personal hearing on 1/10/2018. The industry has now again requested through e-mail that Sh. Prabdeep Singh, Director of the industry is presently out of city at Uttrakhand State and unable to attend the hearing and requested for another opportunity of personal hearing. The request of the industry has been considered and decided to afford last opportunity of personal hearing before refusal of 'consents to operate' under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1974 & the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981.
Therefore, the industry has been afforded last opportunity to appear in person before the Chairman of the Board on 11/10/2018 at 11.00 am to explain its failure to comply with provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1974 & the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, failing which, it will be presumed that the industry has nothing to say in the matter and the consents applications of the industry will be decided ex-party and further action will be taken as per provisions of the said Acts.
