It is intimated that earlier at site M/s Neel Kamal Sales, 21 Wariana Industrial Complex, Jalandhar was running and has now M/s Northernland Engineered Rubber Products has taken the industry in lease on 20.09.2018 for five years. • M/s Northernland Engineered Rubber Products has now applied by fresh consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1981 through OCMMS of the Board under orange category. • As per application of the industry, the unit is a small scale orange category unit and was engaged in the process of manufacturing of Rubber Conveyor Belt, Transmission Rubber Belting and Rubber Moulded Products at site. • As per application of the industry, it has installed 1 No. boiler of steam generation capacity 2 TPH alongwith multi Cyclone as APCD. The industry has not submitted air emission analysis report of its boiler alongwith its application. • As per application of the industry, there is no source of trade effluent, only generation of domestic effluent and has made arrangement for the disposal of the same onto land for plantation after septic tank. • As per application of the industry it has installed 1 no. D.G set of capacity 250 KVA with canopy. • The industry has submitted the CLU certificate issued by STP Jalandhar to M/s Neel Kamal Sales, Basti Mithu Kapurthala Road, Jalandhar for its location Sangal Sohal Road, Jalandhar vide letter no. 1562 dated 20.09.2011 and as per certificate the permission has been granted for industrial purpose. • The industry has submitted approved building plan issued by competent person by the Director of Factories, Punjab. • As per office order issued by the Board vide Head Office letter no. 59 dated 02.02.2016, all the orange and green categories units shall be processed on the basis of document submitted by the industry without site verification within 7 days.
Keeping in view of above, if approved Consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be granted to the industry upto 30.09.2023 with suitable conditions. (COMP SEE) |
