Discussed. Kindly peruse note page of AEE and EE of RO, Fatehgarh Sahib dated 25.09.2018 . A perusal of the reply sent by EE, RO, Fatehgarh Sahib reveals that the indsutry has made expansion twice after the notification of Master Plan, Khanna. It is further informed that the site of the industry is located in residential zone as per notified Master Plan, Khanna and as per Board's office order no. 21 dated 08.06.2018, the consents can be granted to the existing industrial units which were established before the notification of the Master Plan for a period of 15 years from the date of notification of Master Plan.However in this case, the industry has made significant expansion after 2011 i.e. from 5 TPD to 15 TPD and from 15 TPD to 2 TPH, which is not permissible as per the provisions of Master plan as well as per Board's office order no. 21 dated 08.06.2018.
Keeping the above in view, it is proposed that show cause notice for refusal of varied consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 may be issued to the industry with an opportunity of personal hearing before SEE, ZP-II of the Board. |
