The industry was given hearing before the Senior Environmental Engineer, Zonal Office-1, Ludhiana on 21.09.2018 and it was decided that "Environmental Engineer, Regional Office-2, Ludhiana shall verify the contention of the
industry & submit fresh recommendations within 03 days."
The industry was now visited on 08.10.2018 and it was observed that the industry has installed new DG set of 125 KVA which is provided with canopy and have also removed the DG set of 65 KVA which was without canopy from the site.
In view of above, it is recommended that consent under Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry upto 30.6.2023 with suitable conditions. |
