File Note: Sir, by mistake application was send to your account instead of JEE. It is submitted that the industry was granted consent to operate under Air Act, 1981 vide nos. R14MNSCTOA1007107 dt. 25.03.2014, valid upto 30.09.2018 for operation of brick kiln of capacity @ 33,500 nos. bricks / tiles, subject to the conditions mentioned therein. Now, the industry has applied for renewal of consent to operate granted to it under Air Act, 1981 through online system of the Board on 28.09.2018 along with CA certificate showing fixed assets of the industry and compliance reports of consent conditions. The industry has deposited consent fee of Rs. 7500/- vide R. No. 53/4822 dt. 11.10.2018 under Air Act, 1981, which is adequate upto 30.09.2023. No notice is pending in the office regarding any violation of provisions of Air Act, 1981. Moreover, no complaint has been received in this office against the industry regarding causing any pollution by its operation. The industry is complying with the provisions of the Air Act, 1981. Moreover, the industry has submitted undertaking that the BKO will be induced draft by 31.03.2019 and movement area will be constructed properly. As per prevailing policy of the Board regarding auto renewal of consents granted to the industry, it is recommended that the validity of consents granted under the Air Act, 1981 may be extended upto 31.03.2019 with same terms and conditions along with following special conditions: - A. (i) All the moving area around the main brick kiln should be paved with the bricks to minimize the fugitive dust emissions from the brick kiln operations as per the directions of Central Pollution Control Board, New Delhi so that fine dust does not get accumulated all around the brick kiln. (ii) The BKO will obtain Environmental Clearance under EIA notification for mining of brick clay to be used as raw material for the manufacture of bricks and submit the same, within two months. (iii) The BKO will get its emission sample analysed from Board's lab, within one month during the kiln season 2018-19 and submit copy of report to the Board. B. The brick kiln shall adopt induced draft technology with zig-zag firing by 31.03.2019 and obtain completion-cum-adequacy certificate to this effect from the PSCST, Chandigarh.
