Agenda note of AEE may kindly be perused. In view of facts mentioned by AEE in his agenda note and undertaking submitted by the industry as per office order dated 02.02.2016, the Consent under the Air Act, 1981 may be granted for a short period i.e. upto 31/03/2019 with suitable conditions and special conditions that:The industry shall apply for obtaining the authorization under the Hazardous waste (Management, handling & Trans-boundary Movement) Rules, 2008 within 15-days. • The industry shall comply with the CGWA Guidelines. • The industry shall be liable to obtain environmental clearance as required under the EIA notification dated 14/9/2006, in case of increase in the production capacity beyond 30,000 TPA. • The industry will modify/upgrade its APCD as per side hood design of PSCST, Chandigarh before 31/10/2018 • The industry will stabilize its movement area within one month. • The industry will get its stack emissions monitored by Board’s lab within one month of its commissioning
*The consent has been granted on the basis of undertaking submitted by the industry to the effect that it is complying with the conditions of the consent granted under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, in case a part or the entire contents of the undertaking are found incorrect after conduct of visit to the industry, then, action as deemed fit under the said Act shall be taken without any further opportunity/notice. |
