In view of facts mentioned in the detailed note attached herewith, may if approved, it is recommended that consent to operate may be extended upto 30.06.2023 under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 subject to the suitable conditions and additional conditions as under:
1.The industry shall not increase its capacity for processing of paddy @ 2 TPH.
2.The industry shall comply with the code of practice for the rice sheller vide notification issued by Government of Punjab, Department of Science, technology, Environment and Non- conventional Energy vide no. 932 dated 15.10.2013.
3.The industry shall comply with the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and provisions of the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 and if found violating, action as per the rules shall be initiated against the industry.
