It is submitted that the subject cited HCF has applied fresh for obtaining authorization under Bio Medical Waste (Management) Rules, 2016. The HCF has submitted various documents attached with the application in PDF format, which may kindly be pursued. As per undertaking submitted by the occupier of HCF, the HCF is a Clinical Laboratory. The HCF has submitted copy of an agreement signed with M/s Med-Waste Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Village Bidowali, Tehsil Gidderbaha, District Sri Muktsar Sahib for lifting, transportation, treatment and disposal of Bio medical waste, which is valid upto 28/02/2022.
In view of above, it is recommended that the authorization under Bio Medical Waste (Management) Rules, 2016 may be granted one time authorization under Bio Medical Waste (Management & Handling) Rules, 2016 and without visiting the HCF in the light of Head Office Order No. EPA/2018/No. 04 dated 10/04/2018 with the special condition that the HCF shall adopt/implement the amended Bio Medical Waste Management Rules, 2016 immediately. The HCF will apply for fresh authorization if it becomes a bedded hospital. |
