In view of note and recommendations of AEE/EE RO FGS, may if approved, authorization under BMW Rules, 2016 may be granted to the HCF upto 30/05/2025 subject to the suitable conditions and additional conditions as proposed by Regional Office as under:
1. This BMW authorization is valid for 100 beds only.
2. The HCF will renew its agreement with the CBWTF for lifting of its BMW before expiry of the same and intimate to the Board.
3. The HCF shall comply with the laws and bylaws of Master Plan of Patiala.
4. The HCF will use 1-2% sodium hypo-chlorite solution for disinfection of chemical liquid waste generated in the HCF and keep the record of the consumption of the Sodium hypochlorite solution.
5. The HCF shall ensure to comply with the effluent standards as notified under Bio-medical Waste Management Rules, 2016, amended upto date and subsequent amendments if any
6. The HCF will submit Annual Report on Bio-Medical Waste Management in Form-IV by 30th June every year.
7. The HCF shall comply with the laws and bylaws of Master Plan of Patiala.
8. The hospital shall not carry out any expansion/ modernization/ change in process/ category (from green to orange or to red or so on) or out scale (from small to medium or large) without obtaining prior permission of the Board.
9. In case the hospital is found that it has submitted any wrong/ partial/ forged information/ document or any false affirmation, it shall be liable for action as deemed fit by the Board under the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 and BMW Rules, 2016.
10. The authorization is being granted without installation of individual ETP, as an interim arrangement, subject to the condition that HCFs shall ensure to comply with the effluent standards as notified by the MoEF&CC under BMW Rules, 2016 as amended upto the date and subsequent amendments if any.
