The industry has applied for obtaining the authorization under the provisions of the HWM Rules, 2016 for the generation of Category 35.1 ofschedule - I i.e. Exhaust Air or Gas cleaning residue @ 0.3TPA.
The industry has submitted manifests and form 4 for the since year 2017 as per which the details are as under: (Attached)
The site of the industry was visited by undersigned on 21.06.2024 and it was observed as under:
1. The industry was in operation.
2. Theindustryhasprovidedaroomofsize8’x6’x10’forstorageofHW Category35.1from process APCD.
3. The industry is maintaining the record of the generation of the APCD Ash.
4. At the visit time 195 kg of HW was found stored.
5. The industry has provided Environmental data Board outside main gate of the industry
6. The industry has provided HW room with impervious flooring and danger sign and category board.
7. The industry has made agreement with TSDF Nimbua vide membership no. 2304 dt 23.06.2016.
8. As per the record the HW stored as on 31.3.2024 was – 183 Kg & on date of visit was – 195 Kg.
From above it is clear that the industry is complying with the provisions of the HWM Rules, 2016.
It is recommended that renewal of authorization under the Hazardous & other wastes (Management & Transboundary Movement) Rules, 2016 may be granted to the industry for generation, storage and reuse of Category 35.1 @0.3 TPA with usual terms and conditions
