It is intimated that the establishment has submitted documents for obtaining one time authorization for the import of import of Iron and steel scrap @ 1000 MT, Aluminium scrap @ 500 MT, Copper scrap @ 500 MT & Mixed non-ferrous metal, heavy fraction scrap, containing metals other than specified in Part B1050 and not containing constituents mentioned in Schedule II in concentrations sufficient to exhibit Part C characteristics*, as specified in Part D of Schedule – III of Hazardous & Other Wastes (Management & Transboundary Movement) Rules, 2016 as per Punjab Pollution Control Board office order no. 349 dated 08/06/2021. The establishment has deposited Rs. 5,000/- as one time registration fees as per the revised fee structure decided by the Board. The establishment has submitted following:
1. GST registration certificate no. 03AACCS2714E1ZZ, Import and Exporter code no. 3008015379.
2. Description of Waste to be imported of Iron and steel scrap @ 1000 MT, Aluminium scrap @ 500 MT, Copper scrap @ 500 MT & Mixed non-ferrous metal, heavy fraction scrap, containing metals other than specified in Part B1050 and not containing constituents mentioned in Schedule II in concentrations sufficient to exhibit Part C characteristics*, as specified in Part D of Schedule – III of Hazardous & Other Wastes (Management & Transboundary Movement) Rules, 2016, during the validity period of one time authorization.
3. The establishment is situated at jaspal bangar, which is an designated industrial area.
4. The establishment was visited on 27.06.2024 and it was observed that the establishment is surrounded by the industries at all the sides and falls in designated industrial Area.
5. Description of Waste to be imported i.e. Iron & Steel scrap specified in Part B1010 and not containing constituents mentioned in Schedule-II in concentrations sufficient to exhibit Part-C characteristics.
In view of above mentioned facts, may, if approved, M/s RMS INTERNATIONAL PRIVATE LIMITED, having IEC code 3008015379, GST Registration no. 03AACCS2714E1ZZ be granted one-time authorization for import of scrap listed at Basel no. B3020 of Part-D of ScheduleIII of the Hazardous Waste (Management and Transboundary Movement) Rules, 2016 for 5 years, please.
