It is submitted that the HCF has applied for obtaining fresh authorization under Bio Medical Waste (Management & Handling) Rules, 2016 through OCMMS of the Board for 02 chair.
The HCF has deposited Rs. 1000/- vide UTR No. N183243124297605 dated 01.07.2024 under authorization under Bio Medical Waste (Management & Handling) Rules, 2016 is adequate for one time.
• The HCF has submitted MOU signed with M/s Meridian Milieu, Ltd, Bir Pind, Jalandhar for treatment and disposal of its Bio-Medical Waste valid upto 01.01.2026 for 02 chair.
• The HCF has submitted self declaration certificate with the application.
• The HCF has submitted site plan and lifting slips of bio medical waste with the application.
• The HCF is complying with the conditions under Bio Medical Waste (Management & Handling) Rules, 2016.
Keeping in view of the above, it is recommended that the authorization under Bio Medical Waste (Management & Handling) Rules, 2016 may be granted for one time with special condition that:-
1 This authorization under Bio Medical Waste (Management & Handling) Rules, 2016 is valid for one 06 only.
2 The HCF shall got lifted/handed over its Bio-Medical Waste generated to the Common Bio-Medical Waste Treatment Facility on daily basis.
3 The HCF shall obtain other statutory approvals required from other departments, if any.
4 The HCF shall submit annual return every year.
5 The HCF shall get the validity of agreement made with Common Bio Medical Waste Treatment Facility extended well before its expiry and submit the same to the Board.(Competency Environmental Engineer, RO-1, Jalandhar)
