Recently, a PIL no. 125 of 2024 and 134 of 2024 has been received from the office of Addl. Advocate General Punjab wherein it has been mentioned as under :
"It has been alleged that hospitals in the Medicity area are dumping medical waste in the open without processing and part of the medical waste is being allowed to flow in the natural choes/nullahs. In this regard, Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital has been named in particular.
P.P.C.B. has been directed to cross check the allegations and if correct, take corrective measures forthwith and file a status report."
Have you verified the same. If yes, then put up the complete report alongwith fresh recommendations accordingly. |
