The hospital has valid consent to operate upto 30.09.2024 and as per discussion held with the hospital it will shortly apply for renewal of consent to operate.
In the view of above, it is recommended that authorization under Bio Medical Waste (Management & Handling) Rules, 2016 may be granted upto 31.03.2029 with suitable conditions as per policy of the Board and special conditions that: -
1. This BMW authorization is valid for 209 dental chairs and 100 beds only. The HCF will apply for fresh authorization if it increased its bed/dental chair capacity.
2. The HCF will submit effluent analysis result report from Board’s lab within 1 month.
3. The HCF will renew its agreement with the CBWTF for lifting of its BMW before expiry of the same and intimate to the Board.
4. The HCF shall ensure to comply with the effluent standards as notified and Bio-medical Waste Management Rules, 2016, amended upto date and subsequent amendments if any.
5. The HCF will submit Annual Report on Bio-Medical Waste Management in Form-IV within 1 month.
6. The HCF will maintain proper record of generation and lifting of bio-medical waste.
7. The HCF shall got lifted/handed over its Bio-Medical Waste generated to the Common Bio-Medical Waste Treatment Facility on daily basis.
8. The HCF shall obtain other statutory approvals required from other departments, if any.
