The industry has applied for obtaining the authorization under the provisions of the HWM Rules, 2016 for the generation of Category 35.3 of schedule – I i.e. Used / Spent oil @ 0.30 TPA.
The industry has submitted manifests and form 4 for the year 2017-18, 2018-19, 2019-2020, 2020-21, 2021-22, 2022-23, 2023-24 as per which the details are as under:

The site of the industry was visited by undersigned on 23.07.2024 and it was observed as under:
1. The industry was in operation.
2. The industry has provided a room of size 5’x5’x8’ for storage of HW Category 35.3 from process effluent treatment.
3. The industry is maintaining the record of the generation of the waste oil.
4. At the visit time 1051.4 kg of HW was found stored.
5. The industry has provided Environmental data Board outside main gate of the industry
6. The industry has provided HW room with impervious flooring and danger sign and category board.
7. The industry has made agreement with TSDF Nimbua vide membership no. 3366 dated 5.7.2024
8. As per the record the HW stored as on 31.3.2024 was – 1027.725 Kg
9. From above it is clear that the industry is complying with the provisions of the HWM Rules, 2016.
It is recommended that authorization under the Hazardous & other wastes (Management & Transboundary Movement) Rules, 2016 may be granted to the industry for generation, storage and reuse of Category 35.3 @ 0.30 TPA with usual terms and conditions
