It is submitted that earlier, the hospital was granted renewal of Authorization under Bio-Medical Waste Management Rules, 2016 vide no. BMW/Renewal/TRT/2018/8269701 dated
31/08/2018, which was valid up to 31/07/2023.
Now the HCF has applied for obtaining renewal authorization under Bio-Medical Waste Management Rules, 2016 under the name and style of M/s Kashyap Scan Centre. As per the undertaking submitted by Dr. Gurbhej Singh, Owner, there are no bed available in their premises and is operating only OPD.
The HCF has submitted a valid agreement for lifting, transportation and treatment of Bio medical waste with M/s Amritsar Enviro Care System (P) Ltd, Village- Ibban Kalan, Chabhal Road, Amritsar, which is valid upto 30/09/2028.
The HCF has deposited Rs. 1,000/- vide UTR No. N178243112504102 dated 26/06/2024 as One-Time Authorization fee under Bio Medical Waste Management Rules, 2016 as per head office letter no. HQ-3/EPA/2023/2799-2815 dated 19/01/2023.
As per head office order no. 04 dated 10/04/2018 the application of the HCF can be processed without making inspection. Further as per Office Order no. 379 dated 27.10.2023 the HCF upto 30 bedded having sewer connection with MC sewer with STP at terminal end shall grant consents/authorization of the Board without installing STP as interim arrangement subject to condition that the HCF shall comply with the effluent standards as notified by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change under Bio-Medical Waste Management Rules, 2016.
In view of the above, if approved, one time authorization may be granted to the HCF with special conditions that:
1. The HCF will renew its agreement time to time made with Common Bio Medical Waste Treatment Facility well before its expiry and submit the copy of same in this office.
2. The HCF will submit Annual Report on yearly basis in this office before 31st March every year.
3. The HCF will apply for fresh authorization if it becomes a bedded hospital.
4. The HCF shall comply with all the guidelines issued by CPCB / PPCB. |
