File Note: 1. The subject cited HCF is a clinic in the name and style of Dr Naresh Dental implant & Maxillofacial Trauma Centre, 1-52 State Gurudwara Market Randhir College Road Kapurthala,. 2. Now, the HCF has applied for fresh authorization under BMW (Management & Handling) Rules, 2016 for dental clinic only. 3. As per the application form, the HCE has dental clinic only. 4. The HCE has deposited One Time authorization fees of Rs. 1,000/- vide UTR No. INDBN03078097696 dated 03.07.2024. 5. No action is pending against the concerned healthcare facilities for violation of Bio/Medical Waste Management Rules, 2016, Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, Environment (Protection) Act, 1986. 6. The HCE has made agreement with M/s Bio Medical Waste Treatment Plant Private Limited, Village Pangoli, District Pathankot for lifting of its Bio-medical Waste. 7. The Bio-Medical Waste is being lifted by CBWTF and the HCE has maintained the record of the same as the HCF has submitted the manifest slips. From the record, it is clear that the HCE is regularly lifting its Bio-Medical waste lifted to CBWTF. 8. As per Board office order no. 04 dated 10.04.2018, the authorization (fresh/renewal) under Bio/Medical Waste Management Rules, 2016 applied by the healthcare facilities upto 20 beds/dental chairs will be granted by the concerned Regional Office within 07 days of receipt of complete application without making inspection of those healthcare facilities. In view of the above, it is recommended that the HCF shall be granted the one-time authorization in with usual conditions as per the Board policy and with following special condition: - 1. The HCE shall adopt the proper color-coding as per Bio-medical Waste Management Rules, 2016 & segregating its Bio-medical Waste as per Bio-medical Waste Management Rules, 2016. 2. The HCE will renew its agreement with concerned CBWTF on expiry of the same. 3. The HCE shall apply for the revised authorization as per the Board's policy, if at any later stage, the HCE adds patient beds or dental chairs in its premises. (Competency Environmental Engineer)
