As per the decisions of the hearing dated 15.7.2024- The Chief Environmental Engineer (B) decided that:-............... 1. The present applications applied by the industry under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 for operation of induction furnace, galvanizing furnace & shot blasting machine be returned with the request to re-apply for obtaining consents to operate under the said Acts, for the processes which are to be operated by the industry............... 2. The industry will not operate its zinc plant/galvanizing furnace without obtaining consents to operate of the Board as required under the provisions of the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981............ 3. Environmental Engineer, Regional Office, Bathinda shall visit the industry, process the applications to be applied under the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981, on merits If approved the application applied by the industry may be returned pl. |
