Sir, the industry is regularly lifting its Hazardous waste, recently it has lifted ETP sludge @ 10115 Kg on 16.07.2024 and MEE salt @ 9400 Kg on 16.07.2024 to M/s Nimbuan. Presently ETP sludge @ 8670 Kg and MEE salt @ 9887 Kg is stored inside the premises in a scientific manner.
In view of above it is recommended that:- 1. Renewal authorization under Hazardous and Other Wastes (Management and Transboundary Movement) Rules, 2016 may be granted to the industry for category of 5.1 @ 0.4 KL/Annum, 33.1 @ 2400 Number/Annum, 35.3 @ 180 T/Annum and 37.3 @ 150 T/Annum upto 30.06.2029 with the special condition that the industry shall keep lifting its hazardous waste of all categories regularly and shall maintain the record regarding generation and lifting of sludge. 2. Directions u/s 5 of Environment Protection Act, 1986 may be issued to restore the electric connection of the unit permanently.
