The industry was visited by officers of the Board on 12/05/2025 and observed that the industry was in operation and has installed two induction furnaces of capacity 1.5 TPH each. The air emission samples were collected and the report regarding the same is being sent separately through e-noting. The industry has submitted Form-4 with the application which shows that the industry has stored Hazardous Waste of Cat 35.1 @ 93 kg and Cat 5.1 @ 13 ltrs. The industry has failed to produce any record of the Hazardous Waste generated, stored and disposed off to the TSDF during visit so that auditing could not be conducted. The industry has now provided storage arrangements for the Hazardous Waste generated. The industry has failed to submit Bank Guarantee imposed to it till date.
In view of the above, it is recommended that the application of the industry may be granted to the industry for short term with usual conditions and additional condition that the industry will maintain the record of the Hazardous waste generated stored and disposed off.
