It is submitted that the HCF was granted consents to operate under
the Water Act, 1974 vide no. CTOW/Renewal/SGR/2023/21348894 dated
07/06/2023, valid upto 31/12/2023 & the Air Act, 1981 vide no.
CTOA/Renewal/SGR/2023/21346808 dated 12/05/2023, valid upto
31/12/2025 for Health Care Facility of 37 no. beds, with certain conditions
mentioned therein.
Further, the HCF has auto renewed its Consent to Operate under the
Water Act, 1974 vide no. CTO/Renewal/SGR/2024/25308909 dated 01.04.2024
valid upto 01.04.2029 under the auto renewal mode of the Board.
Earlier, the HCF has obtained fresh authorization under the
Hazardous and Other Wastes (Management and Transboundary Movement)
Rules, 2016 vide no. HWM/Fresh/SGR/2023/21390729 dated 11.07.2023 having
validity upto 10.01.2024 for category no. 5.1 (Spent oil) @ 0.05 Kl/Annum &
Category no. 35.3 (Spent oil) @ 0.116 T/Annum.
Now, the HCF has applied for renewal of authorization under the
Hazardous and Other Wastes (Management and Transboundary Movement)
Rules, 2016 for category no. 5.1 (Spent oil) @ 0.05 Kl/Annum & Category no. 35.3
(Spent oil) @ 0.116 T/Annum.
To verify the facts, the HCF was visited by undersigned of this office
1. The HCF is 37 bedded hospital.
2. The HCF has made an agreement with TSDF, Nimbuam for lifting of ETP sludge
generated from ETP and agreement made with authorized recycler namely
M/s Puneet Refinery, Industrial Focal Point, Sunam Road, Tehsil & District
Sangrur for sold the spent oil.
3. The HCF has installed 2 no. DG sets of capacity 125 KVA & 45 KVA, which is
equipped with canopy and stack of adequate height.
In view of above, may if approved, the case may be sent to the
Competent Authority with recommendations that the authorization for
Generation, Collection, Storage, Transportation and Disposal of category no. 35.3
@ 0.116 TPA & 5.1 @ 0.05 KL/Annum may be granted to the HCF upto
01.04.2029, with suitable conditions as per policy of the Board
