• It is submitted that the trader has applied for one time authorization for import of actual user under Rules 13 of Hazardous Waste (Management, Handling & Transboundary Movement) Rules, 2016 for import of B1-Metal and metal-bearing wastes sub basel no. B1010 i.e, Iron and steel scrap @ 1200 MT and the detail of the same is as under:-
1. The trader has deposited fee of Rs. 5000/- vide No. 943553612 dated 09.10.2025 under one time authorization for import of actual user under Rules 13 of Hazardous Waste (Management, Handling & Transboundary Movement) Rules, 2016.
2. The trader has submitted the copy of approved building plan cum location plan, copy of GST, rent agreement with the application.
3. The trader has submitted the copy of import/export license issued from Directorate General of Foreign Trade.
• The site of the godown was visited by undersigned on 06.11.2025 and observed that:
1. The site of the godown is located at Godown no. 9, Village Kanpur DD Godown, Raipur Rasulpur, Hemkunt Public School, JJ Colony, Jalandhar.
2. As above documents submitted by applicant, the site is suitable for grant of category import of B1-Metal and metal-bearing wastes sub basel no. B1010 i.e, Iron and steel scrap @ 1200 MT as per policy of the Board.
3. The site of the godown is complying with the conditions one time authorization for import of actual user under Rules 13 of Hazardous Waste (Management, Handling & Transboundary Movement) Rules, 2016.
In view of above, it is recommended that one time authorization to the trader for import of B1-Metal and metal-bearing wastes sub basel no. B1010 i.e, Iron and steel scrap @ 1200 MT may be granted for five years with usual conditions as per policy of the Board, please
(Competency EE).
