● It is intimated that the industry is small scale plastic sports items manufacturing unit.
● The industry was already granted consent to operate under the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974, Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 upto 21.08.2030.
● Now, the industry has applied for fresh of authorization under Hazardous and Other Wastes (Management and Transboundary Movement) Rules, 2016 for category 5.1 @ 0.1 KL/annum.
A. The industry was visited by the by AEE of this office on 04.11.2025 and it was observed that: -
1. The industry was in operation during the visit.
2. The industry has made agreement for disposal of category 5.1 with M/s Aggarwal Manufacturing Company, Focal Point, Ludhiana.
3. The HW of category @5.1 stored during the visit was about 08 liters in proper manner.
4. Hazardous waste storage room with lock & key & danger sign has been provided.
Keeping the above in view, it is recommended that authorization under Hazardous and Other Wastes (Management and Transboundary Movement) Rules, 2016 for collection, storage & disposal of hazardous waste for category 5.1 @ 0.1 KL/annum may be granted to the industry for five years with usual conditions.
