The point wise compliance of the observations raised by the competent authority are as follows: -
1. Raw material, products and manufacturing process: - Production of Cotton Yarn @ 42 TPD using Cotton @ 57 TPD as raw material. The manufacturing process includes Raw Material → Blow Room → Carding → Preparatory Section → Ring Frame → Coning/Winding.
2. Sources of hazardous waste generation: - From industrial operations only waste/used oil of category 5.1 schedule-1.
3. Year wise quantity of Hazardous waste generation & disposal viz a viz authorized quantity for last 3 years: - Enclosed herewith.
4. Category & Scale as per New Categorization: - As per the Directions issued under Section 18(1)(b) of the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 regarding harmonization of classification of industrial sectors under Red, Orange, Green, White, and Blue Categories, vide Order No. SEE(HQ-2)/F.No.10/2025/10336-354 dated 19.03.2025, and in reference to the CPCB Letter No. CP-18/1/2023-IPC-VI-HO-CPCB-HO dated 12.02.2025, the activity “Textile spinning, sizing and weaving mills (wastewater generation≥ 10 KLD )” (Category Code 180.1) falls under the ORANGE Category.
5. Display of Environmental data board outside the main gate of industry: - The industry has installed an Environmental Data Display Board outside the main gate, showing key environmental parameters as per regulatory requirements. However, during inspection, a few discrepancies were observed in the displayed values, which did not fully align with the monitored data. The industry has been advised at site to correct the same.
