In view of the report/recommendations sent by EE, RO, Patiala, if approved, the industry may be granted renewal of authorization for generation, collection, storage & disposal of hazardous waste of Cat. 5.1 @ 1.5 TPA, Cat. 5.2 @ 0.6 TPA, Cat. 21.1 @ 5.005 TPA, Cat. 33.1 @ 3000 No/Annum and Cat. 35.3 @ 2 TPA, under Hazardous and other Wastes (Management & Transboundary Movement) Rules, 2016 may be granted upto 31.12.2031, subject to suitable conditions and conditions as imposed by RO.
