File Note: It is submitted that the entity has applied for obtaining fresh authorization for lab under the Bio-Medical Waste Management Rules, 2016 along with the requisite documents: 1. Location & site plan. 2. The HCF has submitted an agreement for lab with the Common Bio Medical Waste Treatment Facility namely M/s Rainbow Environments Pvt. Ltd. Village Balyali for lifting and treatment of Bio Medical waste generated from the HCF having validity upto 28.10.2028. 3. The HCF has submitted copy of undertaking regarding authorized signatory and bed capacity regarding that the entity is storage without beds. 4. The HCF has submitted copy of undertaking regarding lifting of BMW on monthly basis. The HCF has deposited Rs. 1000/- vide receipt no. 30282952 dated 11.10.2025 under BMW Rules, 2016. As such, according to Board's order no. HQ-3/EPA/2023/2799-2815 dated 19.01.2023. As per Board’s Office Order No. EPA/2018/04 dated 10/04/2018, the authorization under Bio-Medical Waste Management (Amendment) Rules, 2019 (fresh and renewal) applied by the health care upto 20 beds / dental chairs will be granted by the concerned regional office within 7 days of receipt of complete application without making inspection of those health care facilities. As such, the HCF was not visited to check the compliance of the Bio-Medical Waste (Management) Rules, 2016. Further, as per Board's office order no. EPA/2018/01 dated 03.01.2018, if the HCF is non-bedded, it is to be granted one-time authorization under BMW Rules, 2016 with the condition that the HCF will apply for fresh authorization if it becomes a bedded hospital. In view of above, one time authorization under the Bio-Medical Waste Management Rules, 2016 may be granted to the HCF subject to the suitable conditions and following additional conditions as under:- 1. This BMW authorization is valid for lab. The HCF will apply for fresh authorization if it installs beds. 2. The HCF will renew its agreement with the CBWTF for lifting of its BMW before expiry of the same and intimate to the Board. 3. The authorization is valid for category and quantity of bio medical waste as mentioned in the certificate. If in case the HCF starts generating bio medical waste more than authorized quantity for any category it shall obtain fresh authorization from the Board. 4. The HCF will use 1-2% sodium hypo-chlorite solution for disinfection of chemical liquid waste generated in the HCF and keep the record of the consumption of the Sodium hypochlorite solution. 5. The HCF will submit Annual Report on Bio-Medical Waste Management in Form-IV by 30th June every year. 6. The HCF will maintain proper record of generation and lifting of bio-medical waste. 7. There is no claim of continuation of HCF in present premises on the basis of this authorization. 8. The HCF shall comply with the zoning regulation of master plan & to be shifted from the site as and when asked by the Govt./PPCB/ or any concerned Govt. agency. 9. The HCF shall got lifted/handed over its Bio-Medical Waste generated to the Common Bio-Medical Waste Treatment Facility on daily basis. 10. The HCF shall obtain other statutory approvals required from other departments, if any. 11. The authorization is granted on the basis of declaration given by the HCF and in case declaration given by the HCF is found to be false under any circumstances, the authorization granted to the HCF may be deemed to be considered as cancelled. *Competency: Environmental Engineer (RO)
