On scrutinizing the application submitted by the project proponent, observations were raised on 10.11.2025. The project proponent has subsequently submitted a reply to the said observations. In the reply, it has been stated that the waste categories 5.2, 15.2, and 36.2 are not presently generated at the site. Accordingly, the project proponent has applied for authorization under waste categories 5.1, 33.1, and 37.3, which pertain to the hazardous waste currently generated at the facility.
The project proponent is therefore required to apply afresh for authorization under categories 5.1, 33.1, and 37.3. Additionally, the proponent shall submit a justification for not applying under categories 5.2, 15.2, and 36.2, along with details of any changes in the manufacturing process or operations leading to the non-generation of these waste categories.
