• It is intimated that the industry is small scale Leather finishing unit.
• Now, the industry has applied for fresh of authorization under Hazardous and Other Wastes (Management and Transboundary Movement) Rules, 2016 for Category 30.1 @ 0.060 T/annum.
• The industry was visited by the by AEE of this office on 11.11.2025 and it was observed that: -
A. The industry was in operation during the visit.
B. The industry has made agreement for disposal of Category 30.1 with M/s Nimbua Greenfield Limited, Mohali.
C. During visit, approx. 80 kg of sludge was stored at site.
D. Hazardous waste storage room with lock & key & danger sign has been provided.
Keeping the above in view, it is recommended that authorization under Hazardous and Other Wastes (Management and Transboundary Movement) Rules, 2016 for collection, storage & disposal of hazardous waste for Category 30.1 @ 0.060 T/annum may be granted to the industry for five years with usual conditions.
