Based on the report submitted by the Regional Office, it has been observed that the industry has stored Hazardous Waste bearing Category 30.1 (ETP sludge) to the tune of approx. 80 kg at its premises for a period exceeding 90 days. Further, the industry has not ensured timely lifting and disposal of the said hazardous waste to the authorized disposal facility at Nimbuan which is in violation of the provisions of the Hazardous Waste Rules 2016, Keeping in view of above it is recommended that Auhtorization under HWM rules may be refused and industry be issued SCN for lifting Hazardous waste from its site to authorised processor immediately ,plz. |
