File Note: 1. The subject cited HCF is a Government Rural Health Centre/Clinic in the name and style of M/s Aayushman Aarogya Kendra, Village Kot Sadiq, Tehsil & District Jalandhar. 2. The HCF has applied for fresh authorization under BMW (Management & Handling) Rules, 2016 for Clinic only i.e. without any bed. 3. As per the application form, the HCF has Clinic only and it does not have beds. 4. No action is pending against the concerned healthcare facilities for violation of Bio/Medical Waste Management Rules, 2016, Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 & Environment (Protection) Act, 1986. 5. The HCF has deposited one-time authorization fee Rs. 1,000/- vide UTR number 390711282 dated 30.10.2025 under the Bio Medical Waste Rules, 2016. 6. The HCF has submitted linkage certificate from Office of Civil Surgeon, Jalandhar linked to its nearest mapped Primary Health Centre i.e PHC Chitti for Storage in BMW store room and thereafter proper disposal by its authorized CBWTF. 7. The PHC Chitti has made agreement with M/s Meridian Milieu Care Private Limited, Village Bir Pind, Tehsil Nakodar, District Jalandhar for lifting of its Bio-medical Waste. 8. As per Board office order no. 04 dated 10.04.2018, the authorization (fresh/renewal) under Bio/Medical Waste Management Rules, 2016 applied by the healthcare facilities upto 20 beds/dental chairs will be granted by the concerned Regional Office within 07 days of receipt of complete application without making inspection of those healthcare facilities. In view of the above, it is recommended that the HCF shall be granted the one-time authorization as per Head office, Patiala notification number 23951-53 dated 05.10.2023 with usual and following special conditions that: - 1. The HCF shall adopt the proper color-coding as per Bio-medical Waste Management Rules, 2016 & segregating its Bio-medical Waste as per Bio-medical Waste Management Rules, 2016. 2. The PHC Chitti shall renew its agreement with concerned CBWTF on expiry of the same. 3. The HCF shall separately arrange its own arrangements with the concerned CBWTF upon availability of funds. 4. The HCF shall apply for the revised authorization as per the Board's policy, if at any later stage, the HCF adds patient beds or dental chairs in its premises or with the HCF makes its own agreement with the CBWTF upon availability of funds.
