Discussed,it has been observed that the industry has stored Hazardous Waste bearing Category 30.1 (ETP sludge) to the tune of approx. 80 kg at its premises for a period exceeding 90 days. Further, the industry has not ensured timely lifting and disposal of the said hazardous waste to the authorized disposal facility at Nimbuan which is in violation of the provisions of the Hazardous Waste Rules 2016, Keeping in view of above it is recommended that SCN for refusal of Auhtorization under HWM rules may be issued with opportunity to industry for reply within 07 days to the SCN ,plz.
