ADDITIONAL INFORMATION IN SPECIFIC CASES. 25 Whether industry is receiving/processing any category of hazardous waste. If yes, give following information. No a) Category/Categories of hazardous wastes received processed by the industry. NA i) Quantity of hazardous waste received/ processed day. NA ii) Names & complete correspondence addresses of the units from whom the industry is receiving hazardous waste. NA iii) Complete details of storage arrangement made by the industry to store received hazardous waste. NA b) Whether industry has facilities for environmentally sound management of hazardous waste processing? NA c) Whether any category of hazardous waste is generated after processing of received hazardous. NA 26 Whether industry is selling/ offering to transport/ transporting any category of hazardous waste? If yes, give names & complete correspondence address of the unit to whom the hazardous waste is being sold. No 27 Whether industry is processing imported hazardous waste as raw material? If yes, detail about the permission obtained from MoEF, New Delhi, if any. No 28 If the industry is processing waste oil, old/used lead-acid batteries and other non ferrous metal wastes, whether industry has got itself registered with Ministry of Environment & Forests, GOI, New Delhi and has obtained ‘Actual user certificate’. No Consents: Water Consent CTOW/Renewal/PTA/2023/20766468 dated 30.01.2023 Air Consent CTOA/Renewal/PTA/2023/20765635 dated 30.01.2023 Validity 30.09.2026 Agreement for Category 5.1: The industry has submitted the agreement executed with M/s Mahadev Petrochemicals, Mandi Gobindgarh for lifting of its hazardous waste of category 5.1, which is valid upto 31.12.2025. Visit: To verify the contents of the application, the industry was visited by the undersigned on 18.11.2025 and Sh. Seeta Ram, Associate Director was contacted. During visit, it was observed as under: 1. The industry was in operation. 2. The industry has provided an ETP for the treatment of trade effluent, which was in operation. There was no hazardous waste of category 35.3 was found stored in the hazardous room. The representative informed that no chemicals are used in the ETP process; therefore, the generated sludge is free from chemical contamination and is being utilized as manure in the plantation area. The industry has also submitted an undertaking in this regard, which is attached herewith. 3. The industry has installed 01 no. DG set of capacity 125 KVA with canopy and adequate stack height. No hazardous waste of category 5.1 was found stored in the premises. 4. The hazardous waste of category 33.1 stored in the premises as on 18.11.2025 was about 80 kg. 5. The industry has provided separate hazardous waste rooms for the storage of hazardous waste in its premises. 6. The industry has maintained the record of generation and disposal of hazardous waste. 7. The industry has provided lock & key facility with the hazardous room. 8. The industry has installed a danger sign Board at the wall of Hazardous waste rooms. In view of above, if approved, it is recommended that renewal of authorization for generation, collection & storage of hazardous waste of Cat. 5.1 @ 0.04 KLA and Cat. 33.1 @ 0.035 TPA as required under Hazardous and other Wastes (Management & Transboundary Movement) Rules, 2016 may be granted upto 30.09.2026 (in consonance with the validity of air consent) subject to the suitable conditions and additional conditions as under: 1. The industry shall comply with the provisions of Hazardous and Other Waste (Management and Trans-boundary) Rules, 2016. 2. The industry shall handle the Hazardous Waste(s) in accordance with the provisions of the Hazardous & Other Wastes (Management and Transboundary Movement) Rules, 2016 and guidelines issued by Central Pollution Control Board / Ministry of Environment & Forests and Climate Change, New Delhi. 3. The occupier/operator of a facility shall send annual returns to the Board in form-4 on or before 30th day of the June following to the financial year to which that return relates. 4. The industry shall report about the accident which occurs at the hazardous waste storage/treatment site immediately to the Board. 5. In case the industry fails to comply with the above conditions of authorization as well as provisions of the Hazardous and Other Wastes (Management and Transboundary Movement) Rules, 2016 and/ or any other environmental law applicable to the industry and Rules, Circulars & Directions issued by the Board from time to time, the Board shall constrain to take action against the industry under the provisions of the Pollution Control Laws. 6. The Authorized person shall report, about the accident which occurs at the hazardous waste storage/treatment site immediately to the Board. 7. An occupier who is generating hazardous waste shall store his waste category wise on site in environmentally sound manner till its treatment. 8. An occupier /generator shall not store hazardous wastes in open ground. It must be stored in an isolated site away from plant operational area. 9. The occupier shall provide the required safety devices like safety mask, goggles, hand gloves, gum boots, etc. to the workers for handling the hazardous waste. The occupier shall impart training to the personnel/workers for handling and storage of hazardous wastes. 10. The occupier shall be responsible for any damage of life/or property during storage of his waste and will obtain Public Liability Insurance, wherever applicable. Competency – CEE
