Sir, Agenda note attached for further pursual please. The industry has applied for renewal of authorization under Hazardous & Other Waste (Management & Trans-boundary Movement) Rules, 2016 for category Cat. 35.3 @ 150 TPA, Cat. 33.1 @ 100 Number/Annum and Cat. 5.1 @ 0.02 KLA. The records maintained by the industry shows around 20 Tons of ETP sludge (Cat. 35.3) was generated last year. it is recommended that the application be returned and Industry be directed to reassess the quantity of ETP Sludge (35.3) produced on yearly basis and reapply with updated/lower figures. |
