It is submitted that the industry was granted consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981, both are valid upto 30.09.2027. The industry was also granted authorization under the HoWM Rules, 2016 which is valid upto 30.09.2027. The industry has submitted point wise compliance report of SOP framed by CPCB for utilization of ETP sludge and same were verified by the Regional Office. Further, the industry has given detail of dedicated vehicle to be utilized for transportation of ETP sludge including copy of RC and driving license. Therefore, the industry is complying with the consent as well as authorization under HoWM Rules conditions.
If approved, it is recommended that AUC -cum- passbook for Collection, Storage, Transportation and Utilization of ETP sludge i.e. hazardous waste of category 32.3 of schedule - I @ 1000 TPA, may be granted to the industry for a period of five years with suitable conditions.
