Sir, 1.0 The unit is complying with the HWM Rules. 2.0 The industry was granted to consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 vide no. CTOW/Renewal/LDH1/2023/23649782 dated 19.10.2023 valid up to 31.03.2027 and Air Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Renewal/LDH1/2023/23649156 dated 19.10.2023 valid up to 31.03.2027 for manufacturing of Dyed Knitted Fabrics @ 10000 Kgs/Day, Dyed Fiber @ 6000 Kgs/Day and Dyed Yarn @ 5000 Kgs/Day. 3.0 The quantum of hazardous waste (ETP Sludge) generated is
(around 20 MT/year) against granted authorization for 150 TPA. In view of the above, it is recommended that show cause notice in writing be issued to the unit for refusal of authorization as soughted quantity for etp sludge is much higher than generation.
