• It is submitted that the industry is generating hazardous wastes of category 21.1, category 35.3, category 5.1 & category 33.1………
• The industry has made agreements with authorized firms / facilities for lifting of hazardous wastes of all categories………
• Hazardous waste of category 21.1 & 35.3 is being lifted by M/s Eco Management & Protection Services, F-33, Kahrani, Tehsil Alwar, Distt. Alwar, Rajashatan, authorized by Rajashatan State Pollution Control Board upto 3110.2030………
• Hazardous waste of category 33.1 is being lifted by M/s Surya chemicals, Village Ranimajra, Tehsil Derabassi, Distt. Sas Nagar, Punjab authorized by Punjab Pollution Control Board upto 10.05.2029………
• Hazardous waste of category 5.1 is being lifted by M/s Indian Petro Chemicals, Punjab authorized by Haryana State Pollution Control Board upto 17.01.2027………
• It is further submitted that the industry has earlier applied for renewal of consents to operate under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 under large scale red category and the same were refused after approval of worthy Chairperson of the Board. Hence, the Competency lies with the worthy Chairperson of the Board…….
• RO has reported that the industry has made adequate arrangements for storage & disposal of hazardous waste and the industry is complying with the provisions of HOWM Rules, 2016……..
Keeping in view of above and recommendations of RO, if approved, the validity of authorization may be further extended upto 31.03.2027 with following special conditions: - 1. The industry shall apply for varied authorization under HOWM Rules, 2016 after 31.03.2027 based on actual maximum generation of hazardous wastes…………….. 2. The industry shall get registered on National Hazardous Waste Tracking System (NHWTS) portal, within 07 days.…………………… 3. The industry shall comply with the provisions of HOWM Rules, 2016 at all times…………… 4. The industry shall provide dedicated room for storage of hazardous waste with lock & key arrangement and shall provide danger sign board outside the room………………5. The industry shall maintain category wise proper record of hazardous waste generation & its disposal on daily basis……………. 6. The industry shall maintain record of hazardous and other wastes on monthly basis in Form 3……………. 7. The industry shall file an annual return in Form 4 to the Board on or before the 30th day of June following the financial year to which that return relates………………. 8. The industry shall provide Environmental data board outside the main gate of premises, …………………. 9. The industry is responsible for safe and environmentally sound management of hazardous and other wastes.…………
