The project proponent had already obtained fresh Consent to Operate (CTO) under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 vide No. CTOW/Fresh/BTI/2019/8977222 dated 04.06.2019, and under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide No. CTOA/Fresh/BTI/2019/8977247 dated 04.06.2019. Both consents are valid up to 31.12.2028 for transportation of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) through the pipeline from Mehsana to Bathinda and Bathinda to Jammu. Since the Board has already issued CTOs for the project, this applications cannot be accepted as the PP has not clearly mentioned any change required as compared to the previously granted consent.
It is therefore requested to submit reply of the clarification within 02 days.
