SIR,
This project pertains to the Government of Punjab. The land belongs to Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), Ludhiana. The project is financially supported by the Government of India, Ministry of Food Processing Industries, Panchsheel Bhawan, New Delhi. A copy of the grant letter addressed to the Vice Chancellor, PAU, Ferozepur Road, Ludhiana (Letter No. FM-11/75/2020-AS-FME dated 12/12/2021) has been attached for reference.
In view of the above, no land-use classification is required.
Furthermore, the project is of Green Category project and does not have any pollution load under the Water Act or the Air Act. Land under this project is about 800 Sq. Yards. PAU Patiala Campus (Rauni) has more than 11 acres of land available at the site. Out of this, the built-up area will be approximately 3 acres, while more than 5 acres will be utilized for greenbelt/horticulture and plantation purposes. This area is adequate for the safe discharge of treated wastewater, estimated at approximately 13 KLD (comprising 11.5 KLD of trade effluent and 1.6 KLD of domestic wastewater).
The submitted layout and structural plans have been duly prepared, stamped, and signed by a Professor from the Civil Engineering Department, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar National Institute of Technology (NIT), Jalandhar.
Additionally, the project cost has been corrected and updated in the NOC application form.
In view of above you are requested to grant the NOC.
