The industry has applied CTO for production capacity 96Mtd Steel Ingots/Castings/Metal Rolls and has mentioned 350 working days/2 shifts in the application. The industry clarified that it works single shifts with and total production would not exceed 30,000 TPA, whereas, the above claim needs to be justified in terms of documents of production undertaken for last 2 financial years certified by CA/competent person .
The industry was granted CTO with the condition that it shall comply with the guidelines/SOPs provided by PSCST, Chandigarh in the effective operation of APCD. The industry is again required to submit compliance report of the SOPs framed for such types of units.
The industry needs correctly fill the domestic effluent consumption and generation w.r.t no. of employees working and residing as mentioned in the application form. The industry is required to check the water consumption and generation w.r.t. number of people working and residing as the same not in order in the application form.
The industry has submitted analysis report of treated waste effluent. But it is required to submit data sheet of the same.
