The application was scrutinized and observed that:-
Earlier the industry was granted consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for casting of auto parts and scaffoldings @ 5 MTD by using pig iron and scarp @ 5.2 MTD and for 02 nos. induction furnaces of capacity 0.200 TPH & 0.500 TPH and one shot blast machine.
Now the industry has applied for obtaining varied consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for casting of auto parts, Scaffolding etc. @ 16 MTD by using iron scrap @ 13 MTD & Pig iron @ 05 MTD as raw material by installing one induction furnace of capacity 01 TPH, 02 nos. power presses and 02 nos. shot blast machines. However, the industry has not submitted feasibility report w.r.t APCD installed with it machinery. Moreover, the industry has not submitted any details w.r.t earlier installed 02 nos. induction furnaces of cap 0.500 TPH and 0.200 TPH. The industry has increased its fixed assets from 8.19 lakhs to 46.68 lakhs but the industry has not submitted any details regarding this increase. The industry has not submitted hard copy alongwith complete documents.
