It is submitted that the project proponent has submitted the application for obtaining extension in ‘Consent to Operate’ under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. The project proponent has submitted Rs. 2,16,000/- (under both acts) as the consent fee, which is adequate up to One year only. But, the project proponent required to submit the consent fee adequate for next five years as per policy of the Board.
It is therefore requested to submit the consent fee adequate for next five years or mention the reason for submission of less fee. |
