The industry was granted consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 vide no. CTOW/Fresh/FGS/2020/13182731 dated 28/08/2020 and under the Air Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Fresh/FGS/2020/13182463 dated 28/08/2020 both valid upto 31/03/2023 for the manufacturing of Pouched Milk @ 150 KLD, Curd @ 15 KLD, Butter Milk @ 10 KLD, Lassi @ 10 KLD and Paneer @ 2000 Kg/day with generation of trade effluent @ 100 KLD.
Now, the industry has applied consent to establish (NOC for expansion) for manufacturing of Pouched Milk @ 300 KLD, Curd @ 25 KLD, Butter Milk @ 30 KLD, Lassi @ 35 KLD, Paneer @ 4000 Kg/day, UHT Milk (Packaging Milk) @ 100 KLD, Seasonal Sweets @ 5000 Kg/day and White Butter @ 1000 Kg/day and proposed generation of trade effluent @ 290 KLD. It has proposed to process milk 3 times and additional manufacturing of sweets @ 5000 Kgs/day. Please provide water balance and clarify regarding generation of trade effluent @ 290 KLD |
