The application of the industry has scrutinized and it is observed as under:-
1. The industry has applied for consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 for production of dyeing for all type of fabrics (Polyester/PC/Cotton) @ 14.5 TPD and discharge of 898 KLD, which is on the higher side. The industry is wasting its water and requires aggressive waste water minimization programme.
2. The industry is required to submit the agreement for the disposal of ash generated from the boiler installed by the industry with Brick kiln.
3. The industry is required to submit certificate from the M.C. Ludhiana regarding disconnection of the sewer line(s).
4. The industry is required to submit undertaking regarding the following:
a. Number of submersible pumps installed along with the HP of the motor attached.
b. Measures taken for minimization of wastewater.
c. That all the waste water is discharged through dedicated pipeline alongwith numbers of pumps and their capacity.
You are requested to submit above said observations within 02 days.
