the application of the industry was scrutinized and it has been observed that:
1. the industry was earlier granted CTO under the Water Act, 1974 for reusing the trade effluent (not less than 85 KLD) back into the process and rest onto land for plantation.
However, the industry has now mentioned in its application form that treated trade effluent @ 90 KLD shall be used for plantation of green area. the industry is required to clarify regarding this.
2. in the last CTO, a special condition was imposed to the effect that the industry shall submit copy of agreement of additional land with the adjoining farmer or submit the detail of the area develop under Karnal Technology before starting its operation of the unit. the industry is required to submit its compliance.
Please clarify regarding above within 02 days, so that further action may be taken in the matter. |
