The application of the industry has been scrutinized and it was found that the industry was given a personal hearing before the Hon’ble Chairman of the Board, and the proceedings of the same have now been received.
The officers of the Board and the representative of the industry, along with the Chairman of the Board, decided as follows:
1. The industry shall immediately shift to PNG as fuel in compliance with the Hon’ble NGT orders as well as the Notified State Fuel Policy.
2. The industry shall submit an Environmental Compensation amounting to Rs. 2.0 Lakh within 15 days based on the best assessment judgment.
3. The industry shall submit a bank guarantee amounting to Rs. 3.0 lakh within 7 days as an assurance to comply with Environmental Laws.
