The application of the industry for obtaining fresh consents under the Water Act, 1974 and varied consent under Air Act, 1981 has been scrutinized and following observations were made:
1. The industry is required to deposit adequate consent fees w.e.f expiry of previous consent under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 which was valid upto 31.12.2015. The current fees deposited is only adequate upto 31.05.2022 after deducting penalty fees of Rs. 10800/-.
2. The industry is required to deposit adequate consent fees under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 w.e.f 01.11.2018. The current fees deposited is only adequate upto 30.09.2024 after deducting penalty fees of Rs. 10800/-.
3. The industry is required to deposit NOC regularization fees of Rs. 1800/-.
4. The industry is also required deposit Environmental Compensation for operating its brick kiln without converting to induced draft technology after 01.02.2019 upto date of completion certificate.
As such you are requested to clarify the aforesaid observations within 02 days, so as to proceed further in the matter. Till then, the application submitted by the industry shall be treated as incomplete.
