The application submitted by the industry has been scrutinized and it was observed as under:
1. The industry has applied for obtaining fresh consent to operate under the provisions of the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981. However, as per record file of the Board, the industry was granted consent to operate under the provisions of the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 and both were valid upto 30.06.2019. Further, the industry has not submitted any reason regarding applying for fresh consent to operate. The industry needs to apply for renewal of consent to operate under the provisions of the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981.
2. The industry has not submitted complete compliance report of the conditions of the previous granted consent to operate under the provisions of the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981.
3. The industry is required to deposit Rs. 52400/- (Rs. 26200/- under Water Act, 1974 and Rs. 26200/- under Air Act, 1981 under each Act) to make the consent fee adequate upto 30.06.2030.
4. The industry needs to submit compliance report of the “Environmental Guidelines for Stone Crushing Units” issued by Central Pollution Control Board in June 2023.
It is requested to submit the reply to the clarification within 02 days. Until then, the application will be treated as incomplete. |
